Traveling on your own ensures you get yourself into situations that simply don’t happen when you’re traveling with your friends.
It’s sink or swim and you have to learn how to survive – who to trust, how to make friends, how to find you way around alone. That’s the greatest reward of solo travel: the personal growth. Each time you go away, you learn to become a little more independent, confident, and in tune with your emotions and desires.

However, traveling solo gives you an opportunity to meet those good people every corner of the earth – those stranger people you meet at the airport, hotel owners, restaurant staffs, a never ending stream of good people who are equally curious about you, as you are about them and their country. You discover a lot of things about yourself – you’ll become a walker person😁 that you can see way more of the place when you walk 30km a day. That along the way, you didn’t even noticed it but selfie stick or self timer mode of your phone will become your new best friend! 😂 You’ll get yourself in the most authentic, ridiculous situations, things you’ll never forget, experiences to tell your kids about. It’s the true essence of travel and it’s a beautiful thing ones you can only truly harness when you’re alone.

Traveling alone is never been a bad idea at all. I must say at some point of your life you should try it, you should do it, at least once! Because along the way, you learn so much about yourself, you develop inner confidence that you can’t find at home, nor when your surround with people you’re comfortable with. You become stronger, more emotionally aware yet also so much more resilient. You learn a new level of appreciation for the opportunities you’ve had and hopefully you realize that to waste them is a crime.😉 You find purpose in the freedom. All hugely positive changes in your being.
